ARENA Homme magazine has released a preview of the photoshoot and interview with actor Lee Jae Wook.

From the very first words, Lee Jae Wook happily told reporters that he is taking a vacation for the first time since his debut.

The actor spoke about his upcoming dramas "Doctor on the Edge" (닥터 섬보이) and "Perfect Job" (꿀알바), which are scheduled for release in the second half of this year.

Lee Jae Wook: "I believe that "Doctor on the Edge" will be a very touching piece that tells the story of a doctor isolated on a remote island. The series touches on emotions we all experience every day. I laughed and cried a lot during filming. I even sobbed uncontrollably while watching scenes that weren’t mine. I’m glad it seems to have turned out well and very heartfelt. As for "Perfect Job", there’s not much to say yet. However, I dare to suggest that it might be the most unconventional work among those released in the second half of this year."

("Perfect Job" is a mystical horror fantasy set against the backdrop of a strange employment agency that offers only «медовые подработки» with hourly wages 50 times higher than average. The story centers on a young man named Hyuk Joon, who is thrown into a hellish work site where he doesn’t know what horrors await him.)

Knowing your strengths is important, even if they don’t show on the outside. Asked what he considers his strengths as an actor, Lee Jae Wook replied: "Not being afraid to try something new. Of course, I am afraid because I don’t want to fail. At the same time, I always try to stick to the principle: 'Failure is okay.' Every time I take on a new project, I start from the premise that I am doing it to show a side of myself that I haven’t shown yet. So being clumsy is fine. Clumsiness is inevitable. I just strive to prepare as best I can."

Lee Jae Wook has dreamed of becoming an actor since childhood. What kind of actor does he consider good?

Lee Jae Wook: "An actor who fully fulfills the role required by the work. An actor who blends naturally into the frame. An actor who holds the audience’s attention on the screen, not letting them get distracted. An actor who makes the work shine rather than standing out themselves. I believe an actor with that ability is a good actor."
