P.O from Block B, who gained widespread popularity as actor Pyo Ji Hoon following the dramas «Good Partner» and «Teach You a Lesson», was involved in an accident on Jeju Island.

The news came to light only three days after the incident.

The idol and actor had travelled to the island for a vacation with friends. On the evening of July 19, at around 10 p.m., he was crossing the road in the Hallim-eup district when he was struck by a passenger car.

According to police, the driver was sober and had not violated any traffic regulations.

As a result of the collision, P.O sustained abrasions on his elbow and knee, and also complained of body aches. He was taken to a hospital, where doctors confirmed that his injuries were not life‑threatening. After receiving treatment, P.O was discharged.

Due to the accident, P.O will miss a recording of the tvN programme «Amazing Saturday», which had been scheduled for July 24.

His agency, Artist Company, stated that the actor will be able to take part in the filming of the SBS drama «Good Partner 2» next week, as originally planned.

Police are continuing their investigation into the incident. We wish P.O a speedy recovery and hope everything turns out well.
