According to insiders, Lee Min Ho is in negotiations to star in the new drama «But Your Love» (버츄얼 러브, Virtual Love). Agency MYM Entertainment confirmed that the actor has received an offer and is currently reviewing it. If he accepts, it will mark his first television series role since the drama «When the Stars Gossip» (tvN, 2025).

The series follows an ordinary office worker who discovers that a member of a virtual idol group – someone who helps her cope with the psychological burdens of daily life – is actually her own demanding boss, Cha Wook Hyun (Lee Min Ho). At first glance, Cha Wook Hyun appears to be the perfect man, but his cold and exacting nature makes him the worst boss in the company. As the boss secretly debuts as an idol and leads a complicated double life, an unexpected romance unfolds, filled with comedy and workplace conflicts.

The project will be directed by Jang Young Seok, known for his work on the series «Try: We Become Miracles» (The Winning Try, 트라이 : 우리는 기적이 된다) on SBS. Filming is planned to begin before the end of the year, and casting for lead and supporting roles is currently underway.

Meanwhile, Lee Min Ho is preparing for the release of his new film «Assassins» in September 2026. The film depicts the investigation into the attempted assassination of South Korea’s first lady on August 15, 1974.
