MyDaily reports that Im Yoon Ah has been chosen for the lead role in the Korean remake of the popular Japanese series "Unnatural" (アンナチュラル). Representatives of SM Entertainment confirmed that the actress is positively considering the offer. The number of episodes and the broadcasting channel for the project have not yet been announced.

The Korean version of "Unnatural" (언내추럴) will be directed by Park Yoo Young, known for his work on "The Kidnapping Day" and "Ms. Incognito".

The original Japanese drama "Unnatural" aired in 2018 on the Japanese channel TBS and received wide acclaim from viewers. The story revolves around the staff of a fictional Institute of Unnatural Death - a team of pathologists and forensic doctors who investigate suspicious death cases that conceal criminal mysteries. The heroes face a variety of cases, from accidents disguised as murders to conspiracies in the pharmaceutical industry. The series won six awards at the 96th Drama Academy Awards in Japan.

In the Korean version, Im Yoon Ah will play the role of forensic doctor Lim Do Eun, who investigates the causes of unexplained deaths thanks to her persistence and love of life. Her character possesses a piercing gaze, a bright smile and a firm personality, and is known for her strong appetite and tenacious persistence. In the original, this role was played by Japanese actress Ishihara Satomi.

Fans are watching with interest to see what Yoona's next project will be. She has achieved great success both in Korea and abroad, starring in the romantic comedies "King the Land" in 2023 and "Bon Appetit, Your Majesty". Now, it seems, the actress is trying to change her image by choosing a genre medical drama instead of romantic comedies.
