The trial of Cha Ga Won, chair of ONE HUNDRED and president of the Piark Group, is scheduled to take place on October 13.

She stands accused of receiving an advance payment of 24.2 billion won in connection with a deal involving the intellectual property rights of artists under her agency, and subsequently failing to fulfill the terms of the agreement. The estimated damages are approximately 30 billion won.

The scandal has implicated a wide range of parties, including artists, agency employees, and business partners who claim to have suffered losses.

ONE HUNDRED manages THE BOYZ, while its affiliated and subsidiary companies oversee VIVIZ, BADVILLAIN, individual members of fromis_9, Lee Seung Gi, Taemin (SHINee), Lee Mujin, Huh Gak, Ha Sung Woon (ex-Wanna One), Soyou (ex-SISTAR), Baekhyun, Chen, and Xiumin (EXO/EXO-CBX), among others. VIVIZ terminated their contracts in 2026, and proceedings are currently underway to dissolve contracts with THE BOYZ, Lee Mujin, BE'O, Lee Seung Gi, Taemin, Soyou, Baekhyun, Chen, and Xiumin.

Cha Ga Won will remain in custody until the trial. She was arrested on August 3, 2026, after the court had twice previously rejected arrest warrant requests. Investigators ultimately succeeded in securing her detention by demonstrating that there was a risk of evidence tampering.

Formal charges were filed against her on August 25.

The first court hearing is scheduled for October 13.

Cha Ga Won's legal team has categorically denied all allegations, stating that "the suspicions surrounding ONE HUNDRED arose as part of an attempt to orchestrate a hostile takeover of the company."
