ADOR, the agency representing NewJeans, has reduced its claim against former group member Danielle, a member of her family, and former ADOR chief executive Min Hee Jin (now CEO of OK Records) by 10 billion won.

The figure previously cited was 43.09 billion won. The new amount stands at 33.09 billion won.

"A new representative has been appointed to handle the case and review the claims," ADOR explained. "The amount of the claim has also been partially adjusted and modified. We will strengthen our arguments and evidence as the trial proceeds."

The next hearing in the case is scheduled for June 11.

In December of last year, ADOR filed a lawsuit against Danielle, former CEO Min Hee Jin and others, seeking legal action over their departure from NewJeans.

The NewJeans members had demanded the reinstatement of former CEO Min Hee Jin, who was dismissed following a conflict with HYBE. When that demand was not met, they began independent activities in November 2024, claiming that the contract had been terminated due to ADOR’s violation of the exclusive contract terms.

That December, ADOR filed a lawsuit against NewJeans to affirm the validity of the exclusive contract. The first court hearing in October of last year ruled in favor of ADOR.

As the NewJeans members did not appeal, the ruling became final. Subsequently, the members expressed their intention to return to ADOR.

However, in December 2025, ADOR terminated its exclusive contract with Danielle.

At present, three members of NewJeans have decided to return to ADOR, while member Minji is still negotiating the terms of her return.
