For the first time in 35 years, Yoo Jae Suk cancelled a scheduled program shoot on the day itself.

According to media reports, this was due to health problems. The star suddenly developed a fever and body aches and was unable to work.

It happened on September 22 during filming of the next episode of the SBS program «Whenever Possible» (Teumman Namyeon, 틈만 나면) in Jongno.

This is the first time this has happened since Yoo Jae Suk's first television recording in 1991. The star has never allowed himself to miss a shoot and has always arranged his schedule well in advance so as not to put the production team and colleagues in an awkward position.

Yoo Jae Suk is, without a doubt, Korea's top TV personality. He created and produced many shows that later became part of television history and set standards for everyone else. They include «Running Man» (런닝맨), «X-Man» (X맨), «Infinite Challenge» (무한도전), «Happy Together» (해피투게더), «Sixth Sense» (식스센스), «You Quiz on the Block» (유 퀴즈 온 더 블럭), «How Do You Play?» (놀면 뭐하니?), and he also has a YouTube channel DdeunDdeun (뜬뜬), and so on and so forth. All these shows aired weekly, if not daily — and not just one of them.

Yoo Jae Suk has always seemed absolutely indestructible, working like a machine on a schedule that is insane even by the standards of Korean workaholics.

But at 54, it is time to put his own health first. We wish the star a speedy recovery.
